How Do I Make comments?

It is easy!  And it is all step by step here with pictures! Even a youth pastor could figure it out! Click on any of the pictures and they will open up in a separate tab/window so you can see the more details if needed.  (or right click and then click open in new tab/window) Then click on the back button on your browser to return here and continue.

Or something very much like this.  On every page of this website the header and menus remain the same at the top as well as the right hand column.  The first thing you need to do is to register in order to interact with the CCF website. Scroll down to the bottom of any page and you will see on the right hand side under Admin you will find “Regester” with a small cross in front of it.  Click on it !

Type in a username and your email address and click on the blue “register” button. An email will be sent to your email address from “ccindymi@…bluehost.com”.  If you do not see it in a couple of minutes check your spam folder/and or settings to see if it is being blocked.

Copy your password (a whole bunch of numbers and letters that no one could ever remember but don’t worry…you can change it in a minute!) and go back to the CCF website.

Scroll down to the bottom right again but this time click on “log in” under the admin heading.  (You can do this anytime you visit the site in the future and then you can interact with comments on any post!)

Enter in your username and password and hit the blue “login” button.

This will take you to the wordpress dashboard.

You can click on “Profile” on the top left hand side of screen to change your password to something you can remember (just remember to write it down!) and also signify what nickname/name you want to show up with your comments.

Then just click on the “Calvary Christian Fellowship Indy - visit site” on the very top left and it will take you back to the CCF website.

Now you can go to any article on the site if after the post there is a “Speak your mind” section.  Simply type in any comment, encouragement, any missed details or questions you may have or comment on a previous comment and then simply click the “submit comment” button.  Your comment will then appear in the “comment” section directly following that article.  (as seen in screenshot above)  All comments subject to approval and or deletion at any time.  Remember to be encouraging, loving, kind, forgiving and respectful.

And here is an extra tidbit for any geeks out there….Got a feed reader?  You can subscribe to the comment feed from the CCF website to recieve all comments posted on this site in your reader!  That way you can see what people are talking about and jump right in on the conversations! Just click on the RSS feed button on top right of page.
