Four things that we at Calvary Christian Fellowship as a Body strive after. Four words that we hope define our words, our actions, our passions and our lives.

Worship. Serve. Grow. Belong.

Everything we do at CCF falls into one of these four categories. This website is set up in this manner and as you navigate around you will hopefully get a sense of God’s vision for us as a group Christ followers at CCF.

Worship

Worship. Giving praise to God. Glorifying Him in all we do. We at CCF take worship very seriously. Not because it is something we have to do or just another part of Sunday morning but rather because it is at the core of our relationship with God. It is our reaction to a God that is Holy. A God that is amazing. And a God that has shown us mercy and grace and love beyond comprehension!

Serve

Our worship is more than just songs and an emotional experience. Our worship is 24/7/365. It not only comes from our lips but also from our hands and feet and in loving others just as He has loved us.

In the third chapter of I John God tells us what love truly is, how love is imperative to us as believers, and how our lives should show this love (I John 3:16–24) Worship and loving God comes first but the result of that act can and must be the second…Loving and serving others and sharing with them what God has done for us.

Grow

We worship God…and as a result of that act we then serve and love and share with others… and as a result of that….we GROW. During our time together on Sunday mornings we experience a lot of things together but the two main goals of that time are: To worship and to grow.

Each Sunday we read and preach the Bible; God’s personal message for us! We began in Matthew when we started meeting together and we have continued forward through the New Testament reading each and every verse as we go along. In doing so we strive to keep our teaching in context and speak about the things that were on God’s mind when he gave us His Word and not just our own topics and agendas.

In doing this we also cover all aspects of God’s message to us in the importance and frequency that He gave it to us in His word. In this way we discuss the difficult as well as the simple and we address it all, not just Toby’s favorite parts. Example: When the Bible talks about money…we talk about money…when it doesn’t…we don’t.

Another important aspect of our GROWING takes place in small groups…

Belong

Small groups are the real meat of Calvary Christian Fellowship. In these groups all four elements are encapsulated into one perfect package.

Worship, Serving, Growing and Belonging.

CCF is not a church with small groups but instead we are small groups that gather together as Calvary Christian Fellowship as well as the larger Body of Christ.

Small groups are the places where we live our lives every day. Small groups (or home fellowships) are where we can come together to pray, worship, serve, study, grow, encourage each other, get to know each other, develop friendships, grow, challenge and well….they are just a place to belong.

A place for us to belong and to share our gifts, talents and blessings with others. A place to ask questions, laugh together, to share what God is doing in our lives, to eat together and a place to serve each other and those in our community.
