Friday night and Saturday September 17th we will be having an inter-active and workshop oriented conference about our call to be disciple-makers.

Two New Ladies Study Groups Ready To Begin!

Attention all ladies of Calvary!  It is almost fall and the kids are back in school and vacations are just now good memories behind us.  It is also time for the Ladies Of Calvary to get back into the swing of things and to get back together once again.  It is also a wonderful chance for any ladies that have not been involved in a previous Woman’s study to jump right in as we study God’s Word together, pray, share and worship Him.

There are two great opportunities ready to begin for you!

The first meets every Tuesday morning and is lead by Carolyn ONeal.  Here’s what Carolyn has to say:

“Ladies, If you were in last years Tues. morning study let me know yey or nay if you are attending this year.   This is a wonderful study and there are so many needs in our fellowship. Let’s grow and learn how we can reach out and minister to the hurting. Let’s be the Lord’s arms to comfort one another.”

The second ladies group will be meeting on Wednesday’ evenings at Mary Ann Morales’ home near McCordsville and will be studying  A Lamp Unto My Feet a 12 week study of the 119th Psalm.  Valerie Duggan will be leading this time and this is what she has to say:

Play about Peter Vin from Sunday May 24th

Here is a video of the performance of the scene’s from the play about Peter Vin’s life performed on Sunday at the end of May.  It portrays some of the trials of a Christian and his family under the persecution of Christians in 1930’s Russian. Unfortunately, Christians are still being persecuted in many parts of the world today. Please keep our brothers and sisters in Christ in your prayers.

This is a little over 18 minutes long so make sure you have some time to sit down and watch it and some freshly popped popcorn before you fire it up!

The small group that meets at the Morales home each Friday night at 7:00 has a special emphasis on families with younger children.  If you have children this is a great opportunity for families to get plugged in to the Body at CCF.

Thursday Night Ladies Bible Study

Ladies Bible Study On Thursday Nights!

Ladies…we are getting together every Thursday evening at 7:00 at the home of Mary Ann Morales for a time of study, prayer and getting to know each other.

This is an especially great opportunity for those new to our church body to get to know some other ladies while learning more about God’s Word.  If this time does not work well for you make sure to check out the other ladies study group on Tuesday nights on the Southside of Indy.
